GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) measures
the verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills that are
developed over a long period of time. It is designed to help
graduate schools of business assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced
study in business/management. GMAT scores are used by nearly
1,700 graduate management programs throughout the world, and about
1,000 of these programs need GMAT scores. GMAT scores are the single best predictor of academic performance in the first year of
graduate management school.
Should
you prepare for GMAT?
Preparing for the GMAT will help ensure that your
verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities are enhanced to give you
a better chance for a higher test score. In many countries,
including Singapore, the GMAT is now administered as a
computer-adaptive test, which means that the answer you give determines
the difficulty of the next question. You receive more credits for
correctly answering more difficult questions.
Remember: Beginning
to study just before the test is NOT likely to have much effect on
your performance!
Who
