Program Information
The University at Buffalo (UB) is the flagship institution of the State University of New York. It is the largest and most comprehensive of SUNY’s 64 campuses. The Master’s degree program in school counseling is approved by the New York State Education Department and UB is accredited by Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
The program offers a challenging curriculum with most content courses delivered in two-week intensive modules over a period of eighteen months.
Students will have the opportunity to learn from and interact with faculty who are nationally recognized leaders in the U.S. counseling field. Our faculty also include well-established authors and clinicians with extensive expertise in counseling strategies for working with children and adolescents, and families in diverse settings.
