In order to graduate with a bachelor's degree in the States, you generally spend four years of studies in a college or university ("College" and "University" are used interchangeably). Regardless of the University you go to, or the major you pursue, the first two years of studies are typically the same general education classes in which students choose from a wide variety of courses. Broward College's Diploma program offered through the Center for American Education gives students an option to complete their general education classes in Singapore and then transfer to the U.S. for the third and fourth year of the bachelor's degree.
