GRE
GRE (Graduate Record Examinations) measures the verbal, quantitative, and analytical writing skills that are developed over a long period of time. It is designed to help admissions committees assess higher level critical thinking and analytical writing skills of applicants, and provides a performance assessment that measures a test taker’s ability to make and critique arguments, which is central to the work done by graduate students in most fields. Most graduate schools require GRE scores for their Masters courses.
Should you prepare for GRE?
Preparing for the GRE will help ensure that your verbal and mathematical reasoning abilities are enhanced to give you a better chance for a higher test score. In many countries, including Singapore, the GRE is now administered as a computer-adaptive test, which means that the answer you give determines the difficulty of the next question. You receive more credits for correctly answering more difficult questions.
Remember: Beginning to study just before the test is NOT likely to have much effect on your performance!
Who conducts the GRE Preparation Course?
The Center for American Education (CAE) conducts the course and offers:
• Qualified instructors who are experienced, knowledgeable, and dedicated
• Small class size for better interaction between students and instructors
• Manageable time schedule for students and busy working adults

• CAE does not administer the GRE, neither do we assist candidates with the test registration process
• All applicants are to fill in their own GRE registration form, and submit it with the correct payment to the appropriate test center
